Lower Respiratory Infection (LRI) / Lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI)

Lower respiratory tract infection is caused by an infection in the lungs, which is in the lower airways. This infection is usually caused by a virus, but it can also be caused by bacteria or other less common organisms.

Lower respiratory infection refers to bronchitis or pneumonia. 
Symptoms of lower respiratory infection include :
Fever,
Shortness of breath,
Cough.
