blood test :

The amount of sodium , potassium , albumin and creatinine inside the body is detected by the blood test . If the amount of any of these is high, it can spoil many organs along with your heart. Along with this, your cholesterol is also detected by blood test.

chest X-ray :

In a chest X-ray test , pictures of the chest and heart are taken using low radiation. This helps the doctor to know the cause of the patient's shortness of breath or chest pain .

Electrocardiogram :

ECG is a quick and very comfortable test. There is no pain or discomfort to the patient in this. The electronic signal of your heart is recorded through ECG. With this, it is ascertained whether the heart is working properly or not. The patient should remain relaxed while getting the ECG done.

Holter Monitoring :

Holter monitoring test is done with the help of a portable ECG device. In this, the patient has to wear this device for 24 to 72 hours, due to which the speed of your heart is detected. Mostly this is done when the problem is not detected even after ECG.

echo test :

Echo test is also called echocardiogram. This is a type of ultrasound, in which the picture inside the heart is seen using sound waves. From this, it is detected about the heartbeat and how the pump is working. There is no pain to the patient in this.

stress test :

In this test, the speed of the heart is increased with the help of exercise or medicine, so that it can be checked how the heart works in such a condition. Whether the heart is working properly at the time of stress or not is detected through stress test. There is no problem for the patient in this. They are simply made to run on a treadmill.

cardiac catheterization :

In this test, a hollow, soft and long tube called a catheter is inserted inside the body through a vein in the patient's leg or arm. The doctor guides the catheter properly to the heart with the help of an outside monitor. During this process, the pressure exerted on the chambers of the heart is measured and by injecting the dye inside, it is seen through X-ray that what is the problem in the heart. In this, it is also checked whether the blood flow in the heart is happening properly or not.

Cardiac CT Scan:

In this test, the patient is made to lie down on a table inside a donut-shaped machine. The X-ray tube inside the machine moves around the body to collect pictures of the heart and chest.

Cardiac MRI :

Cardiac MRI uses a magnetic field and computer-generated radio waves to create detailed pictures of the heart. It is helpful in detecting heart problems properly.

tilt table test :

This test is done on a table that rotates from horizontal to vertical. The patient is made to lie down on this table and see what effect this movement of the table has on his heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen. With this test, the condition of the patient's heart can be detected.
