Home Remedies for Back Pain :


Back pain is a common problem among people. Back pain is often caused by strain on the flexible column of bones, muscles, ligaments and joints. Working continuously sitting at one place, sitting for a long time in the wrong way also leads to the problem of back pain, which also hinders the work of the person. But arthritis, hairline, and spinal fractures and kidney infections also sometimes cause back pain. Apart from this , the problem of back pain also arises due to pregnancy , smoking, aging, lifting heavy objects, not being able to sleep properly. Back pain takes hold for any of these reasons. But most of the people are not able to know the exact reason behind back pain.

With increasing age, problems like back pain start happening. However, back pain can happen to anyone, male or female, at any age. You can adopt some easy natural remedies and home remedies to get rid of back pain. Let us know what are the home remedies and methods to reduce back pain, which are effective in reducing the symptoms of back pain.

(a) Fenugreek is beneficial for reducing back pain :

Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, fenugreek is very popular for treating back pain. Studies have also found that fenugreek helps in relieving back pain. That's why fenugreek is considered one of the home remedies for back pain. Mixing one teaspoon of fenugreek powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of warm milk and drinking it regularly before going to bed at night provides relief from back pain.

(b) Heating Pad For Back Pain Relief :

The heating pad works wonders in relieving back pain. Heat therapy is popular as a pain reliever and helps relieve back pain by healing damaged muscles. Keep the heating pad on your back for 25 to 30 minutes, this therapy will relieve back pain. Repeat this process twice a day.

(c) Turmeric is an Ayurvedic treatment for back pain :

Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, and also has a lot of medicinal properties. Turmeric is used to relieve back pain and reduce its symptoms. Mixing one spoon of turmeric in a glass of warm milk and drinking it cures back pain.

(d) Ice Packs For Back Pain Relief :

Ice packs also play an important role in relieving back pain because anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties are found in ice packs. Take an ice pack and keep it on your back for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat this process two or three times a day, this will cure your back pain.

(e) Vitamins For Back Pain Relief :

Many vitamins have been found helpful in relieving back pain and its symptoms. Vitamin B12 regulates the pressure on the back and does not allow pain to arise, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-pain properties, so that this vitamin is considered very helpful in back pain. Apart from this, due to the antioxidant properties of vitamins C, D , and E, it also reduces the symptoms of back pain along with maintaining good overall health. But instead of taking supplements of these vitamins, it should be eaten directly by adding them to the food. If you take supplements of these vitamins, consult a doctor first.

(f) Castor Oil For Back Pain Relief :

Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid which has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Castor oil gives relief by removing swelling and pain of the back. Heat castor oil and massage it well on the back and leave it for the whole night. By morning your back pain will disappear. If you want, you can take olive oil , lavender oil or peppermint oil for massaging. All these oils have anti-inflammatory properties which help in relieving back pain.

( g) Take a hot shower to relieve back pain :

Taking a hot shower not only relaxes the whole body but also relieves back pain. Taking a hot shower is similar to using a heating pad. Hot water has anti-pain properties, so taking a warm shower can reduce back inflammation as well as relieve pain.

(h) Ginger for back pain :

Ginger contains an active compound called gingerol. It is rich in anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. It is considered useful in treating back pain. Boil ginger in a glass of water for five to ten minutes, then filter it and drink it after adding honey to it. This cures back pain. Apart from this , massaging the back with ginger oil also relieves pain. That's why ginger is used as a home remedy for heartburn.

(I) Pineapples For Back Pain Relief :

Pineapple is an important source of an enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain has anti-inflammatory properties and pain-relieving properties, which prove to be very beneficial in back pain. Drinking pineapple juice mixed with a little water regularly ends back pain. Apart from this, eating a cup of pineapple daily is also beneficial.
