Gudcef-CV 100 Dry Syrup is used to treat Typhoid fever in children. This medicine prevents or kills the bacterial infection from multiplying.

Gudcef-CV 100 Dry Syrup will not work in children for infections caused by viruses, including the common cold and flu.

Cefpodoxime is a antibiotics known as 'cephalosporins'. Cefpodoxime is a bactericidal agent.
Cefpodoxime is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative groups of bacteria. Cefpodoxime works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis (which is essential for the survival of bacteria). Cefpodoxime helps treat and prevent the spread of bacterial infections by stopping the formation of bacterial cells.
Clavulanic acid -
Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Clavulanic acid enhances the activity of amoxicillin against bacteria. and helps the amoxicillin to function optimally.
Thus, Gudcef-CV 100 Dry Syrup helps to prevent the infections that occur due to bacteria in the body.
