Nifutin Tablet
Nifutin tablet is prescribed to treat urinary tract infections ( UTI ).
Nifutin Tablet Composition :-
Nitrofurantoin .................................. 100mg

Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic drug.
Nifutin Tablet Uses :-
Nifutin tablet is used to treat urinary tract infections.
Nifutin tablet works by killing the bacteria that cause the urinary tract infections.
Nifutin tablet may be prescribed for other uses. For more information consult your doctor.
Nifutin Tablet Dosage :-
Nifutin tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Nifutin tablet as directed by your doctor. Use Nifutin tablet exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor.
Nifutin tablet is usually taken for urinary tract infections twice a day for at least 7 days. Take it with a full glass of water and food.
You should start to feel better during your first few days of treatment with Nifutin tablet. If symptoms do not improve or get worse, consult your doctor.
Keep taking Nifutin tablet until you have completed treatment, even if you feel better. If you stop taking Nifutin tablet too soon or skip doses, the infection may become more difficult to treat and the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose, then the missed dose should be skipped. And take the rest of the dose for that day at equal intervals. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Nifutin tablet contains : Nitrofurantoin.
Nitrofurantoin :
Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic drug. Nitrofurantoin works by killing the bacteria that cause the infection. Thus Nifutin tablet works by to treat urinary tract infections.
Nifutin Tablet Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Nifutin tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like :
Dark yellow or brown urine,
Nausea,
Vomit,
Loss of appetite,
Shortness of breath,
Excessive fatigue,
Fever or chills,
Pain in chest,
Coughing up,
Numbness or tingling,
Muscle weakness,
Swelling of the tongue or lips,
Skin rash,
Nifutin Tablet may cause other side effects as well. If you experience any symptoms while taking Nifutin Tablet.

Some Precaution :-
Before taking Nifutin Tablet -
• If you are allergic to Nifutin Tablet. So tell your doctor.
• Tell your doctor that you are taking certain medications such as antacids, antibiotics, benztropine, diphenhydramine, probenecid, and trihexyphenidyl.
• If you have anemia, lung disease, kidney disease, nerve damage, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) deficiency. So tell your doctor before taking Nifutin Tablet.
• Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding women taking Nifutin Tablet Tell your doctor before taking Nifutin Tablet.
Pregnant women should not take Nifutin Tablet in the last month.
• Talk to your doctor about the safe use of Nifutin Tablet in older people or people over 65 years of age. Older adults in general should not take Nifutin Tablet because it is not as safe as other medicines.
• Nifutin Tablet can make you drowsy. Do not perform mental tasks or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.
• Ask your doctor about the safe use of alcohol while you are taking Nifutin Tablet. Because alcohol can make the side effects of Nifutin Tablet worse.
• Nifutin Tablet can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Avoid prolonged or unnecessary sun exposure.
• If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next dose, then the missed dose should be skipped. And take the rest of the dose for that day at equal intervals. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
