Terbcip tablet is prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections.

Terbcip Tablet Composition :-
Terbcip tablet contains :
Terbinafine .............................. 250mg
Terbinafine is an antifungal drugs.

Terbcip Tablet Uses :-
Terbcip tablet is an antifungal medicines. Terbcip tablet is used to treat fungal infections such as athlete's foot (itchy, scaly, and white patches between the toes), jock itch (reddish, itchy, and ring-shaped rash in the groin), ringworm ( Red, itchy, and circular-shaped rashes along the skin, scalp, or in between the nails), and nail infections.

Terbcip Tablet Dosage :-
Terbcip tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and duration of Terbcip tablet would depend on the severity of the treatment depending on the condition. Terbcip tablet can be taken with or without food. Terbcip tablet complete the course of treatment, even if you feel better after a few doses or after a few days. If you stop taking Terbcip tablet too early without completing a course, the infection may reappear, and be difficult to treat.

How Does Terbcip Tablet Work :-
Terbcip Tablet contains : Terbinafine.
Terbinafine :
Terbinafine is an antifungal drugs.
Terbinafine works by stopping the production of a chemical called ergosterol, which works by damaging and killing the cell membrane (protective covering) of the fungus. Thus, Terbinafine prevents the spread of the fungal infection.
This is how Terbcip tablet treats fungal infections.

Terbcip Tablet Sideeffects :-
Like all medicines, Terbcip tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -
Nausea,
Vomiting,
Skin rash,
Headache,
Loss of appetite and there can be many other side effects as well as some side effects. Those that have not been mentioned. However, if you have any experience of any sideeffets and if they do not reduce then consult your doctor.

Precautions :-
• Avoid if you are allergic to Terbcip tablet.
Avoid if you are allergic to Terbcip tablet if you have a skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathlessness. If symptoms like difficulty in taking etc. appear, then inform the doctor immediately.
• If you have liver problems. Terbcip tablet may worsen liver conditions. Should be used with caution. Your doctor may monitor your liver function regularly during your treatment with Terbcip tablet. Tell your doctor if you have pale skin or eyes, dark urine, or stomach pain.
• Terbcip tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless required. Therefore, consult your doctor if you are pregnant.
• Terbcip tablet is not recommended for use during lactation as it passes into breast milk. Therefore, consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
• Terbcip tablet may cause serious skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome (skin condition that causes rashes and blisters), toxic epidermal necrolysis (skin condition that causes blistering and peeling of the skin), Etcetera. Consult your doctor if you experience a skin rash that persists or gets worse.
• Terbcip tablet can cause a decrease in the number of blood cells. Terbcip tablet should be used with caution if you have low blood cell counts. During Terbcip tablet treatment your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor your blood cell count.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy while on treatment with Terbcip tablet. 
• Terbcip tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. 
• The interaction of Terbcip tablet with alcohol is unknown. It is advisable to consult your doctor before consuming alcohol.
• Terbcip tablet can interact with other drugs to cause unwanted effects So, if you are taking any other medicine then tell your doctor. pimozide, leflunomide, codeine, doxepin, clozapine  carvedilol, duloxetine & dextromethorphan etc.
• Terbcip tablet should be used with caution if you have depression. Because Terbcip tablet can cause depression in some cases. Therefore, if you experience depressive symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.
• Neutropenia refers to low levels of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell that help the body fight infection) in your blood. If you have neutropenia, Terbcip tablet may cause neutropenia in some cases. Hence,Terbcip tablet should be used with caution. Your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor blood counts during treatment with Terbcip tablet.
