Eltegra 180 tablet is prescribed for the treatment of allergic symptoms like runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling and watery eyes.

Eltegra 180 Tablet Composition :-

Eltegra 180 tablet contains -
Fexofenadine ............................ 180mg
Fexofenadine is an antihistamine.

Eltegra 180 Tablet Uses :-

Eltegra 180 tablet is treatment of allergic symptoms like runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, swelling, and watery eyes.
Eltegra 180 tablet also work in treatment of  skin allergies with itching, redness, and swelling.
Eltegra 180 tablet is it may cause less sleepiness as compared to other similar medicines.

Eltegra 180 Tablet Dosage :-

Eltegra 180 tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Eltegra 180 can be taken before or after food as recommended by the doctor.
Dosage of Eltegra 180 tablet you will be prescribed will depend on your health condition.
Eltegra 180 tablet should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of water.
Eltegra 180 tablet should not be crushed, broken or chewed.
You should not stop taking Eltegra 180 tablet you have to continue for as long as your doctor prescribed you. You must  not stop taking Eltegra 180 tablet without informing your doctor.

How Dose Eltegra 180 Tablet Work :-

Eltegra 180 tablet contains of : Fexofenadine.
Fexofenadine -
Fexofenadine is an antihistamine. Fexofenadine blocks the release of a chemical named histamine, histamine is responsible for causing inflammation and it is associated  to symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, and irritation.
Thus, Eltegra 180 tablet helps to reduce and relieve the symptoms of allergies.
Do not take any medicines by your own or recommend your medicine to another person even if you see the same type of  symptoms in that person. Consult your doctor to get the most satisfaction. Inform your doctor  if you are having any problems or issue related to the kidneys, liver, or heart. If you are Pregnant or  breastfeeding mothers you should not take Eltegra 180 tablet without consulting or informing a doctor.

Eltegra 180 Tablet Sideeffects :-

Like all medicines, Eltegra 180 tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
Some common side effects like -
Headache,
Drowsiness,
Dizziness,
Nausea and there can be many other side effects as well as some side effects. Those that have not been mentioned. However, if you have any experience of any sideeffets and if they do not reduce then consult your doctor.

Precautions :-

• While taking Eltegra 180 tablet svoid drinking fruit juices (such as apple or orange) because this may affect the absorption of Eltegra 180 tablet and cause more side effects.
• You should not use antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this Eltegra 180 tablet. It can make it harder to absorb this medicine in your body.
• It is not classified that whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Eltegra 180 tablet. Please consult your doctor.
• If you are pregnant then it is not safe to take Eltegra 180 tablet although there are some limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown some harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing Eltegra 180 tablet to you. Please consult your doctor.
• Eltegra 180 tablet is totally safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies confirmed that Fexofenadine does not pass into the breastmilk in a notable amount.which  is not harmful to the baby inside you.
Eltegra 180 tablet would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed babies due to low level milk and lack of sleepiness.
• Eltegra 180 tablet does not  affect your potencial to drive. But you should check that Eltegra 180 tablet does not make you feel dizzy or sleepy before driving or operating any machinery.
• Patients with kidney disease should use Eltegra 180 tablet with caution. Dose adjustment of Eltegra 180 tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Eltegra 180 tablet may cause unrestricted sleepiness in patients with last stage kidney disease.
• Eltegra 180 tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Eltegra 180 tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor before taking Eltegra 180 tablet.
• Never prescribe Eltegra 180 tablet to any other person who seems to be suffering from a same illness. If your doctor prescribe you Eltegra 180 tablet then only you should take it.
• It may cause vomiting. Daily eat simple meals, and do not eat rich or spicy food.
