Dubinor Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of neuropathic Pain.

Dubinor Tablet Composition :-

Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B₁₂. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant.
Pregabalin is a anti-convulsant.

Dubinor Tablet Uses :-

Dubinor Tablet is used to treat long-lasting (chronic) pain lead by nerve damage due to diabetes or spinal cord injury.
Dubinor Tablet is a combination of three medicine, used to treat neuropathic Pain connected with diabetes - peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia.
Neuropathic Pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that give rise to nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system. Symptoms are included like spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, and evoked pain (pain caused by events normally not painful).in the treatment of neuropathic Pain.

Dubinor Tablet reduces pain and its linked symptoms like mood changes, sleep problems, and tiredness. It is thought to work by interfering with pain signals that travel through the damaged nerves and the brain. It also consist nutritional supplements that are helpfull for improving nerve conduction.
Taking Dubinor Tablet regularly will better your physical and social functioning and overall quality of life. It takes a few weeks to work so you should take it regularly even if you feel it is not doing any good. Once your symptoms have gone you should still keep taking the medicine till your doctor advises you to stop.

Dubinor Tablet Dosage :-

Dubinor Tablet is a prescription medicine.
Take Dubinor tablet exactly as your doctor tells you to take it.
The dosage and duration of Dubinor Tablet will be decided by the doctor based on your medical condition.
Take the Dubinor tablet in the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Dubinor Tablet is taken with or without food.
Swallow it whole. Do not chew, crush or break Dubinor tablet. It is better to take Dubinor Tablet at a fixed time every day.
If you miss a dose of Dubinor Tablet, take Dubinor Tablet as soon as you remember. Complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking Dubinor Tablet suddenly as this may make your symptoms worse.

Dubinor Tablet Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Dubinor Tablet can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effects.
• Dizziness,
• Sleepiness,
• Nausea,
• Blurred vision,
• Peripheral edema (swelling of the lower legs and hands), weight gain,
• Dry mouth,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

How Dubinor Tablet Works :-

Dubinor Tablet consists of : Pregabalin, Nortriptyline and Methylcobalamin.
Pregabalin :
Pregabalin is a anti-convulsant. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which reduce pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.
Nortriptyline :
Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which grow the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.
Methylcobalamin :
Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the generation of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Together, they alleviate neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
Thus, Dubinor Tablet treats of neuropathic Pain.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Dubinor Tablet do not take it. 
• Tell your doctor if you are taking any other pain-relief medicines.
• Tell your doctor if you have a history of seizures.
• Immediately look for an medical help if you undergo hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination.
• Do not stop taking Dubinor Tablet without asking your doctor as it may cause withdrawal symptoms.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, don't take Dubinor Tablet untill your doctor has suggested it.
• Dubinor Tablet can cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
• Dubinor Tablet is not suggested for children as safety and helpfull have not been established.
• Can lead to drowsiness and sleepiness. If you have suicidal thoughts, have a conversation with your doctor right away.
• Dubinor Tablet can have interaction with antidepressant medications (e.g. duloxetine, sertraline, escitalopram), pain killer medications (e.g. codeine, hydrocodone, morphine, oxycodone, tramadol, acetaminophen), anti-convulsant medications (e.g. topiramate), anti-anxiety medications (e.g. alprazolam), sedative-hypnotics medications (e.g. zolpidem), antihistamine medications (e.g. diphenhydramine, cetirizine) and muscle relaxant medications (e.g. cyclobenzaprine), antiemetic medications (e.g. ondansetron).
• Use Dubinor Tablet with medical advice if you have had anticholinergic effects, cardiovascular disease, pheochromocytoma, acute myocardial infarction recovery, cardiovascular disease, depression, seizure disorders, drug dependence, suicidal tendency, angioedema, creatine kinase elevations, peripheral edema, PR interval prolongation, bone marrow suppression, diabetes, renal/liver disease, schizophrenia/bipolar disorder, hyper/hypoglycemia, schizophrenia, thyroid disorders and urinary retention.
• Avoid drinking of alcohol while taking Dubinor Tablet as it can increase drowsiness and sleepiness.
• If you are pregnant, do not take Dubinor Tablet till your doctor tells you to. Please talk to your doctor if you have any worry regarding this. your doctor will only recommend if the benefits outweigh the risks.
• Talk to your doctor as there is no substantial research yet on the use of Dubinor Tablet in breastfeeding/nursing mothers.
• Dubinor Tablet causes drowsiness, sleepiness and blurred vision. Don't drive or manage machinery unless you are alert.
• Dose adjustment can be required in patients with liver impairment. Please talk to your doctor if you have a liver impairment or any worry regarding this. Your doctor will recommend only if the benefits outweigh the risks.
