Dufaximin 550 Tablet is an antibiotic. Dufaximin 550 Tablet is use for treating hepatic encephalopathy (a decline in brain function that happens due to the build-up of toxins in the blood as a result of critical liver disease) and irritable bowel syndrome. (a gastrointestinal disorder that give rise to pain in the abdomen and changes in bowel movements).
Dufaximin 550 Tablet Dosage :-
Dufaximin 550 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Dufaximin 550 Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
Dufaximin 550 Tablet dose or duration and treatment will be decided by your doctor.
It is better to take Dufaximin 550 Tablet at a fixed time every day.

• Antibiotic resistance take place when bacteria develop the capacity to defeat the medicine that was intended to kill them. So, finish your full course of treatment with Dufaximin 550 Tablet even if your condition gets better after a few doses to avoid antibiotic resistance.
• Dufaximin 550 Tablet can give rise to dizziness. So, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy after taking Dufaximin 550 Tablet.
• Dufaximin 550 Tablet is not suggested for use in children below the age of 12 years for the treatment of traveller's diarrhoea.
