Raised area of skin,
Swelling, or inflammation in response to touch
Swelling, itching, or flare are also normal.
TREATMENTS

• Cold compress
Lower inflammation and dulls sensation of pain.
• Antihistamine
Decrease or stops an allergic reaction.
• Steroid
Modifies or simulates hormone effects, frequently to decrease inflammation or for growth of tissue and repair.
• Vasoconstrictor : Narrows blood vessels.
• Anti-inflammatory
Cure or counteracts swelling (inflammation) in joints and tissues.
• Desensitization
Lowering allergic reactions by injecting generally increasing doses of the substance causing the reaction.
