Rifidor 200 Tablet is an antibiotic. Rifidor 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections. Rifidor 200 Tablet is used to treat traveller's diarrhoea (an intestinal infection that happens as a result of eating contaminated food or drinking contaminated water while travelling) which is caused due to E. coli bacteria. Rifidor 200 Tablet works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Rifidor 200 Tablet Dosage :-
Rifidor 200 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Rifidor 200 Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
Rifidor 200 Tablet dose or duration and treatment will be decided by your doctor.
It is better to take Rifidor 200 Tablet at a fixed time every day.
If you miss a dose of Rifidor 200 Tablet, take Rifidor 200 Tablet as soon as you remember.

Precautions & Warnings :-
• Rifidor 200 Tablet is not suggested if you are allergic to Rifaximin.

• Rifidor 200 Tablet is not suggested for use in your pregnancy as limited safety information is available. So, inform your doctor before having Rifidor 200 Tablet.

Rifidor 200 Tablet is reported to be helpfull to treat traveller's diarrhoea caused by E. coli bacteria. It is not suggested to take Rifidor 200 Tablet for traveller's diarrhoea caused by other bacteria.
• Rifidor 200 Tablet can give rise to diarrhoea because it can also kill the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine. Tell your doctor if you undergo critical diarrhoea while taking Rifidor 200 Tablet.
• Antibiotic resistance take place when bacteria develop the capacity to defeat the medicine that was intended to kill them. So, finish your full course of treatment with Rifidor 200 Tablet even if your condition gets better after a few doses to avoid antibiotic resistance.
• Rifidor 200 Tablet can give rise to dizziness. So, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy after taking Rifidor 200 Tablet.
• Rifidor 200 Tablet is not suggested for use in children below the age of 12 years for the treatment of traveller's diarrhoea.
