Moxisurge Eye Drop is an antibiotic. Moxisurge Eye Drop is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, an eye infection caused by bacteria, also known as pink eye. It is a bacterial eye infection affecting the conjunctiva (a clear tissue covering the white part of your eyeball and lines the eyelid). This infection can spread easily by direct or indirect contact with an infected person.

Moxifloxacin is a quinolone antibiotics. Moxifloxacin works by blocking the action of an enzyme which is required for bacterial multiplication.

• Avoid using Moxisurge Eye Drop if you are allergic to moxifloxacin.
• Critical allergic reactions to this medicine are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as severe itching, redness, eye irritation, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light.
• If irritation persists or worsens during the use of Moxisurge Eye Drop, the use of Moxisurge Eye Drop must be discontinued and your doctor should be consulted.
• Always wash your hands and don't touch the end of the dropper. This can infect your eye.
• Moxisurge Eye Drop is not suggested for use if a child is below 1 year of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.

• Avoid wearing contact lenses if you have an eye infection.
• If you miss a dose of Moxisurge Eye Drop, use it as soon as you remember. So, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
