It is a bacterial eye infection affecting the conjunctiva (a clear tissue covering the white part of your eyeball and lines the eyelid). This infection can spread easily by direct or indirect contact with an infected person.

• Occumox Eye Ointment is not suggested for use if a child is below 1 year of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
• Occumox Eye Ointment can be used during pregnancy upon your doctor's recommendation. consult your doctor.
• Occumox Eye Ointment can be used while breastfeeding upon your doctor's recommendation. Consult your doctor.
• Occumox Eye Ointment can cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
• Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria develop the capacity to defeat the medicine that was intended to kill them. So, to avoid such resistance, you should always complete the entire course of treatment with Occumox Eye Ointment even if you feel better.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses if you have an eye infection.
• If you miss a dose of Occumox Eye Ointment, use it as soon as you remember. So, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
