Moxtif-K Eye Drop is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye.

Moxtif-K Eye Drop Composition :-

Moxtif-K Eye Drop combination of two Drugs : Ketorolac 0.5% w/v and Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v.
Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID).
Moxifloxacin is a quinolone antibiotics.

Moxtif-K Eye Drop Uses :

Moxicip KT Eye is an antibiotic or anti-inflammatory medicine. Moxtif-K Eye Drop is used for the bacterial infections of the eye. Moxtif-K Eye Drops is also effective in treating the symptoms of redness, pain, or swelling that may occur after corneal refractive surgery orcataract surgery.

Moxtif-K Eye Drop Dosage :-

Moxtif-K Eye Drop is a prescription medicine, for external/opthalmic use.
Moxtif-K Eye Drop dose or duration and treatment will be decided by your doctor. Moxtif-K Eye Drop should normally be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening).
Complete the prescribed treatment of Moxtif-K Eye Drop.

Moxtif-K Eye Drop Side-effects :-

Like all medicines, Moxtif-K Eye Drop can cause side effects, however not everyone may experience these side effect.
• Eye irritation,
• Eye pain,
• Dry eye,
• Eye discomfort,
• Eye swelling,
• Blurred vision,
Most of these side effects are short term and get resolved with time. Although, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get poor, take a doctor's consultation as soon as possible.

How Moxtif-K Eye Drop Works :

Moxtif-K Eye Drop consists of : Ketorolac and Moxifloxacin.
Ketorolac :
Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID).
Ketorolac works by reducing the formation of certain chemical substances in the body that are responsible for pain and inflammation.
Moxifloxacin is a quinolone antibiotics.
Moxifloxacin stops the growth of bacteria.
Thus, Moxtif-K Eye Drop treats bacterial infections of the eye.

Precautions & Warnings :-

• Avoid using Moxtif-K Eye Drop if you are allergic to ketorolac and moxifloxacin.
• Rinse your hands first before applying Moxtif-K Eye Drop Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface to avoid contamination,
• After applying Moxtif-K Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Put on gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. 
• This will cure the medication from draining out. Do not blink or rub your eye.
Avoid wearing contact lenses till your symptoms are completely gone.
• Moxtif-K Eye Drop interaction with other medicine such as : Dexamethasone Prednisolone and Loteprednol.
• Eye infections can cause your eyes to become more sensitive to sunlight than normal. Wearing sunglasses can help to cure this. 
• Along with using Moxtif-K Eye Drop, give warm compress to your eyes to get releive from itching and burning sensation.
• Take care to avoid spreading the infection from one eye to the other, and to other members of your family. Wash your hands daily (particularly after touching your eyes) and do not share your towels or pillows. This will help to cure the infection from spreading.
• Information regarding the use of Moxtif-K Eye Drop during pregnancy is not available. Please talk to your doctor.
• Information regarding the use of Moxtif-K Eye Drop during breastfeeding is not available. Please ask your doctor.
• Bleeding disorders are a group of conditions that cause prolonged bleeding and an inability to properly clot blood. Moxtif-K Eye Drops can get absorbed into the body which may rarely cause a long-term bleeding. Therefore, because of the increased risk of bleeding, there are active bleeding disorders, Moxtif-K Eye Drops should be used with caution.
