Rho Kinase (ROCK) Inhibitors work by blocking a type of enzyme called a kinase. There are different types of kinases in human cells, and they control important functions such as cell signaling, division, metabolism, and survival. Certain types of kinases are more active in cancer cells, blocking them helps prevent cancer cells from growing. Kinase inhibitors also block the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow.
