Empahope S 25/100 Tablet Uses :-
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine. Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is used to control type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) in adult patients above 18 years of age.
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet can be used in patients whose blood sugar level is not satisfactorily controlled by diet and work out, and who cannot tolerate metformin (another antidiabetic medicine).
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is used to reduce the risk of cardiac death in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is used alone and in combination with other drugs to control blood sugar for people with type 2 diabetes.
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is not indicated for use in patients with type1 diabetes.
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet should not be used for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.

Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take Empahope S 25/100 Tablet as directed by your doctor.
Empahope S 25/100 Tablet can be taken with or without food, and should be swallowed whole and tablets must not be split, crushed, or chewed before swallowing.
Do not take a higher or lower dose than directed by your doctor.
Neverr self-medicate or change the dosage without a doctor's advice.

Empahope S 25/100 Tablet combination of two antidiabetic medicine : Empagliflozin and Sitagliptin.
• Empagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitors drug. Empagliflozin lowers blood sugar by reducing excess glucose in the urine by the kidneys.
• Sitagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4) inhibitors drug. Sitagliptin works by increasing the release of insulin (insulin that helps control blood sugar levels). Which helps in reducing the level of blood sugar. Sitagliptin also increases the activity of glucagon-like peptide-1, which regulates blood sugar levels.

Precautions Warnings :-
• Do not take Empahope S 25/100 Tablet, if you are allergic to Empagliflozin and Sitagliptin.
• Type 1 Diabetes : Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is not suggested for use in patients with type 1 diabetes (juvenile diabetes).
• Drinking of alcohol is not suggested during treatment with Empahope S 25/100 Tablet due to the grown risk of critical adverse effects.
• Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is not suggested for use in children and adolescents since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
• Before taking Empahope S 25/100 Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems or an infection in the urinary tract or if you are taking (diuretic) pills.
• Empahope S 25/100 Tablet is not intended for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.
• Pregnant or lactating women should also consult their doctor before taking Empahope S 25/100 Tablet.
• Blood pressure patients, low-salt diet and low blood pressure patients.
• High cholesterol levels (hypercholesterolemia), patients with a history of urinary tract infection, and people 65 years or older
• Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking Empahope S 25/100 Tablet as it may increase the risk of some sideeffects.
